Dr Christine Thatcher (Chiropractor)

I graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s Chiropractic college in 2003 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (clinical science) and Bachelor of Chiropractic Science.

I have over 18 years’ experience as a chiropractor caring for people of all ages and sizes and while I obviously care about all my patients equally, I will confess to having a soft spot for mothers and children.

As a mother of two children, I know the importance of self-care as we often neglect our own health when looking after the family. I have done many hours of post graduate education on the topic of pregnancy and paediatric care in order to enable me to provide the most up to date and beneficial care to my patients.  Our chiropractic tables even cater for the pregnant belly.

Outside work I love to travel. I grew up in the small Canadian town of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario where travel opportunities were limited, however since coming to Australia I have been exploring this great country, with a few overseas trips thrown in.

We look forward to seeing you at Pimpama Family Chiropractic, where we aim to help every member of the family achieve their health goals and feel their absolute best!

Dr Mark Brunning (Chiropractor)

I graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) university in 2004. This was following a seven year career in remedial massage and the completion of a Biology degree at Victoria University.

I first experienced Chiropractic care after compounding numerous injuries sustained from motor vehicle and sporting accidents. Experiencing the tremendous help and benefits Chiropractic care did for me gave me the motivation to become one myself.

Now I am able to focus my life and career on helping people with what I personally went through. I understand injuries, acute and chronic pain very well and I’m driven to helping people improve their quality of life with help and guidance. I use a broad variety of Chiropractic adjustive techniques. I also offer my knowledge and experience in the effective modalities of joint mobilisation, musculo-tendinous manipulation, active release technique (muscle release), trigger point and soft tissue therapies along with postural exercise and rehabilitation awareness advice.

My treatment approach is warm and very thorough and I always customise my approach for the individual needs of each person. From delivering gentle relief for the pain associated with arthritis to the more vigorous techniques required to treat the competitive athlete or manual labourer, and every presentation in between.

My philosophy is that, “a high quality of life and a healthy mental state are the dividends of preventative health!”
